Dale Anthony Girard is a SAG-AFTRA actor based in North Carolina. Although primarily acting for film these days, Dale started his career on the stage in Denver, Colorado. A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado theatre program, he was cast in numerous live-action stunt shows for the Denver based On Edge Productions, LLC. Touring much of the United States, Dale spent nine years acting in their live-action stunt shows (Rogue’s Gallery, The Prince’s Passion, Escape! – and Other Escapades, Check Mate, Pit Fight) as well as their comedy combat productions (The Hole in the Head Gang, Belly-Timber, Zorra!, Robyn Hood, More Than 2 Barbarians). With On Edge, Dale had the unique opportunity of performing for notables such as First Lady Barbara Bush, former President Gerald Ford, as well as acting opposite the singing legend Kenny Rogers in a reworked version of their popular comic western, Hole in the Head Gang.
In legitimate theatre, some of Dale’s favorite roles include Valdez (Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train) Porthos (The 3 Musketeers), Tybalt (Romeo & Juliet), Charles the Wrestler (As You Like It) and the Burgermeister (Red Shoes). From the stage he moved to film, television and commercial acting. He has appeared in supporting roles in feature films including Sankur (Eyeborgs) and Red Neck (Little Chicago), as well as the featured roles of Principal Hilder in the YouTube series Assembly Required (S1.3 – Pitching Principals) and Dad in a television/Internet healthcare commercial (Care Connections). Other film and television credits include Officer McLaughlin (Bad Guy), Coach Johnson (Our Neck of the Woods), Dexter (Driftwood), Thom (Smitty) and Lawrence (My Samurai) – “You look lost little lamb!”
